Man guilty in sledge hammer assault

SANTA FE — A Yatahey man was found guilty by a jury Thursday night in U.S. District Court of assault resulting in serious bodily injury. The jury was unable to reach a verdict on a second count charging Tony Curtis Jr., 38, with assault with a dangerous weapon.
